For events 200 metres or longer. 800 freestyle will be limited to 24 entrants and 1500 metres freestyle event will be limited to 16 entrants
initially on a first come first served basis. Entry restrictions on numbers may be applied to 200 metre and 400 metre events if required to fit pool
time available (based on previous years’ numbers this would be unlikely. The Men’s and Ladies events will be swum as mixed heats.
800 free and 1500 free. Please note whilst there are no qualifying times required to enter, if you fail to complete your swim within the
cut off time quoted for your age range you may be stopped, see appendix at the end of this document for further details.
Age groups for individual Masters Events shall be 25-29 years, 30-34 years, and upwards in 5-year bands as required.
All events shall be heat declared winner.
Age groups for relay events shall be 72 years-plus, 100-119 years, 120-159 years, 160-199 years, 200-239 years, and upwards in 40-year bands

Relay events shall be open to any affiliated clubs. A club may enter more than one relay team in any age category. A swimmer may swim in
more than one age group, but please be aware that if insufficient entries to warrant heats per age group, then the different age groups will be
swum concurrently within Gender or Mixed. N.B. this is highly likely. Each age range will be classed as a different event.
A competitor may represent only one club in the Championships.
The 18-24 Age-group individual championships will be swum concurrently and seeded with the corresponding Masters individual events. The
general conditions applying to these events shall be those of the North West Age Group Individual Swimming Championships except that all
events shall be heat declared winner events and where the conditions for Masters Competitions differ they shall apply.
