Subject Back-to-School Bash & Annual Student Updates

Good afternoon BHE Families,
Our annual Back-to-School Bash at BHE will be on Monday, Aug. 15 from 5:00 - 6:30. This
is an opportunity to meet your child's teacher(s), sign up to be part of our parent
organizations, get bus information, pay on cafeteria accounts, find out about after-school
opportunities, and much more.
For parents who received notifications via email last week regarding incomplete annual
student updates and verification for returning students, please take a moment to complete
that information online before Monday as it is required for each child. This process includes
providing proof of residence, verifying student information and reviewing and completing
parent or guardian agreements. If your child's information has not changed from the
previous school year, you still need to log on to the system, confirm your information, and
review agreements that must be completed each year as required by policy or law. Please
click here to complete the process. If you need assistance, please stop by the Media
Center on Monday during the Back-to-School Bash. As a reminder, this needs to be
completed for each of your children that you have attending a school in Richland School
District Two.
Please check your child's teacher assignment by logging on to Parent Portal. There will also
be a check-in table located in the front of the school on Monday evening where you can pick
up your child's teacher assignment if you cannot view it via Parent Portal.
All parents and students are asked to enter through the front of the school upon arrival at
the Back-to-School Bash and report to teachers' classrooms first before going to the
cafeteria. In the cafeteria you will find

 BHE Spirit Store (BHE items will be sold)

 Boy Scouts & Girl Scouts
 USC Sting Project (off-site extracurricular activity)
 Richland County Recreation Commission (off-site after-school program)
 Harry Haney Golf Academy (on-site extracurricular activity)
 Blythewood Tae Kwon Do (on-site extracurricular activity)
 Snacks
 Information on breakfast/lunch costs & meal applications
