We have read and understood this Student 1:1 Contract, incorporating Cyber-safety and we are aware of the school’s initiatives
to maintain the care, use and management of computers in a cyber-safe learning environment. We understand that failure to
comply with the User Agreement could result in recall of the device and/or loss of access for home use, and/or costs associated
with repairs or replacement of the device while in the care and of the student.
Student: I have read and acknowledge the following:

the device needs to be brought to school with the battery fully charged as no facilities are provided for charging devices at
school due to OHS regulations.
I am not to install any unlicensed software, software that may affect the use of the device for school use, games, or any
software containing inappropriate material.
I am not permitted to change the device specifications, make modifications or add upgrades.
if I have any technical difficulties I can get assistance from the school’s ICT services office.
I am responsible for secure storage in my locked locker when I do not require my device for some lessons, or recess or lunch
breaks. All devices are to be taken home overnight or returned to ICT services for overnight storage (not kept in lockers).
if I leave the school during the contribution period the device and the slip case are to be returned to the school in its original
condition.
I must return the charging adapter to IT Services every 12 months to undergo electrical testing to remain compliant with
DECD Health and Safety policies.

using computing devices in learning
 ensure this Student 1:1 Contract is signed by my child and by me and returned to the school

 evaluate my personal home contents and car insurance to cover equipment on loan to my child, in the event of loss or
damage to such loaned equipment while in the care and custody of my child.
