The tournament will be played on two courts at R. I. Baker and one court at Kate Andrews. 2. All matches best of 3 (if necessary). The first two sets are to 25 with a cap at 27. The third set to 15 but having no cap (must win by two). 3. Teams must provide their own warm-up balls, not to be used in other parts of the schools. (Coaches, please monitor this.) 4. The host school will provide scorekeepers for all matches. Each team must supply 1 lines person for each set. 5. Admission fees: Adults - $3/per day; Students & Seniors - $2/per day Children under 12 – free. THERE ARE NO GENERAL ADMISSON TOURNAMENT PASSES or FAMILY RATES. 6. Change-rooms available. PLEASE KEEP “THE SAIAC MODESTY RULE” in mind. We would prefer that it be a non-factor during the tournament. No uniform changes in the gym. Teams be advised: DO NOT LEAVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS OR VALUABLES IN THE CHANGE ROOMS. Coaches/designates are asked to monitor change rooms, as best they can, prior to and after matches to check for problems and damages. 7. Scheduled times are approximate. Teams should be prepared to play ahead of schedule. 8. A minimum of 10 minutes warm-up time will be allotted between matches, regardless of whether ahead of or behind schedule. 9. Senior tournament playoff structure is an 8 team Oregon Draw with all teams getting 3 playoff matches. Please note that the first playoff game will be held at R.I. Baker with your last 2 matches at Kate Andrews on center court. 10. JV tournament playoff structure has the 3rd place teams from each round robin pool going into a four team Consolation bracket with each team getting 2 playoff games (first games at KA). The top two teams from each JV pool will go into an 8 team Oregon Draw guaranteeing 3 matches on Saturday. All JV playoff games will in the Championship Bracket will be held at R.I. Baker and played on split courts. KA Girls Only Invitational Tie-Breaking Procedure If two or more teams are tied at the end of round robin play, the following criteria will be applied, in order: 1st The team having the best ratio of won / lost matches, considering matches between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; 2nd The team having the best ratio of won / lost games, considering matches played between the teams, will be ranked higher; 3rd The team having the best ratio of won / lost games, considering all matches of the round, will be ranked higher; 4th The team having the best ratio of points for / against, considering games played between the tied teams, will be ranked higher; 5th The team having the best ratio of points for / against, considering all games played during the round, will be ranked higher; 6th As determined by the Organizing Committee (e.g. extra game, toss of coin etc.) 7th Any game needed to break a tie will be a single game to 15, no cap but must win by 2
