How To Play
Objective: The computer will place four unknown colors chosen randomly
under the light blue square. Your objective is to determine the colors and their
placement location.
Set Up: The computer randomly selects four colors. These colors can be red,
green, blue, black, violet, and yellow, selected in any combination of colors,
including using two or more colors of the same color.
Play:






Each play consists of 4 color choices. The current slot where you will
place a color is highlighted with light blue.
Click on one of the color buttons. The color represents that color that
you are saying is in that location hidden by the computer.
Click the Next button to move to the next position and repeat the
previous step.
You can move up and down through your choices by using the Previous
and Next buttons.
Once you are satisfied with the four color choices click on Accept. If
you have any of the colors in the right position the computer will
indicate this by showing a black circle. If you have a right color selected
but it is in the wrong position, the computer will indicate this with a red
circle.
When you have all four colors in the right position you have won the
game. Select New to start a new game.
Examples:
For this example you have selected one
correct position and one correct color in
the wrong position. The computer
indicates this below.
For this example you have no correct colors
selected. Therefore, the computer responds
with none correct.
For this example you have all the colors selected correctly but
they are all in the wrong locations. This is indicated with four red
dots.
For this example you have selected two colors in the
correct position and one correct color. The computer
indicates this displaying two black dots and one red.
