How we will fund
We are helped in our grant-making process by STV Children’s Appeal (registered charity number SCO42429) which has a long
track record in promoting and supporting children’s charities throughout Scotland. Whilst the purposes of Chance to Flourish
and the STV Children’s Appeal are aligned, each has an approach to funding which is complementary. STV Children’s Appeal
is proactive whilst Chance to Flourish will fund through an open application process. Applications for funding which satisfy our
guidance and are received not less than four weeks before the quarterly funding award meeting of the Chance to Flourish Board
of Trustees (“the quarterly deadline”) will be considered in that four week period. The final decisions as to the award of funding
will be determined by the Trustees. Applications received after the quarterly deadline will be considered in the following period.
