HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Enersource® SWITCH TO WIN contest (the "Contest"), visit www.enersource.com/switchtowin
and complete the steps to switch from paper-based billing to e-billing (receive one Contest entry) and/or
switch to pre-authorized payment (PAP) (receive one Contest entry). In order to enter the Contest, you will
require an account number, first and last name and phone number. Certain other information (such as email
address or billing information) will be required in order to subscribe to e-billing and/or PAP. Upon completion,
you'll be automatically entered into the Contest. Current Enersource customers who have previously switched
to e-billing and/or PAP may also participate in the Contest. To do so, please visit
www.enersource.com/switchtowin and follow the steps for current e-billing and PAP customers.
WHO CAN ENTER
No purchase required.
To enter the Contest you must be an Enersource customer who is the age of majority and resides in
Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. To submit an entry, participants must have an Enersource account and be a
primary contact on the account. Only one (1) Contest entry for switching to e-billing and one (1) Contest entry
for switching to PAP will be permitted per Enersource account, regardless of the number of primary contacts
on the account.
Employees of the Sponsor, their affiliated companies and subsidiaries and their immediate family as well as
persons residing in their respective households are not eligible to participate in the Contest. The Sponsor
reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to eliminate any person from eligibility if he/she violates any term or
condition of the Official Contest Rules. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Contest
Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor with respect to all aspects of the Contest, which are final.
CONTEST DATES
The Contest runs from 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time ("EST") June 22, 2016 through August 23, 2016 (the
"Contest Period"). All entries must be received during the Contest Period. All entries received during the
Contest Period that are for an Enersource account that continues to use e-billing and/or PAP as of the Draw
Date (defined below) will be entered into a random draw. The Sponsor will conduct the random draw from all
eligible entries on August 26, 2016 (the "Draw Date") in Mississauga, Ontario.
PRIZES
There is one (1) Grand Prize consisting of a Samsung Washer/Dryer combo that will be awarded. Approximate
retail value of the Grand Prize including taxes, delivery and warranty is $3,250(CDN).
There are two (2) Runner Up Prizes consisting of a Samsung 55” 4K Television that will be awarded.
Approximate retail value of each Runner Up Prizes including taxes, delivery and warranty is $1,800(CDN).
The random draw will occur in order of the Grand Prize, and two Runner Up Prizes. Only one prize per
Enersource account will be awarded. Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, have no
cash surrender value and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions. The Contest Sponsor reserve
the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute and/or modify a prize, or prize portion, with (a) prize(s) of equal or
greater value for any reason. Installation of the prizes is not included.
WINNER NOTIFICATION AND PRIZE DELIVERY
The selected winners will be notified by phone and/or email (based on Enersource account contact
information) by the Sponsor within 5 days of the draw occurring. In order to claim the prize, the selected
winners must correctly answer an unaided, time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question (the "Question").
Following which and within a further 5 days, the selected winners will be required to meet with the Sponsor to
receive and sign a declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Contest Rules,
acceptance of the prizes as awarded and releasing the Sponsor and their respective shareholders, directors,
officers, employees and representatives from any and all liability in connection with the prizes, use of the
prizes or the Contest. The prize will be awarded to the primary contact on the Enersource account who
entered the Contest. Delivery of the prizes will only be to the Mississauga, Ontario address provided on the
Enersource account.
Inability of the Sponsor to reach a selected winner within the above time frame, failure by a selected winner
to answer the Question correctly, failure by a selected winner to return a signed declaration and release form
within the above time frame or refusal to pick up a prize, results in a forfeit of the prize and the right for the
Sponsor to re-draw the prize.
ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. The Sponsor is not responsible
for lost, incomplete, late, delayed or misdirected entries by participants.
GENERAL CONDITIONS REGARDING THE CONTEST
By entering this Contest, the entrant acknowledges and agrees to the non-responsibility of the Sponsor and
the Agency, its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees and agents with regard to any
injury, accident, loss or misfortune relating to all aspects of this Contest, including costs associated with
claiming and use of the prizes.
The Sponsor will not be responsible for any printing, administrative, technical, electronic, network, computer
or software malfunction, or other error of any kind in connection with this Contest, including but not limited
to errors in advertising, the Official Contest Rules, the selection and announcement of winners or the
distribution of prizes.
All entries and declaration and release forms are subject to verification, and will be declared invalid if they are
incomplete, forged, falsified, altered, or tampered with in any way. Any attempt by a participant or any other
individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be in
violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor reserves the
right to seek remedies and damages (including lawyers' fees) from any such participant or any other individual
to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.
Any decision of the Sponsor will be final. Liability for any Contest material that is irregular or defective is
limited to the replacement of the Contest material.
All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged. By entering the Contest,
entrants agree that they may be notified by email or telephone if they are drawn to receive a prize.
The prize winners must also consent to the use of their name, city of residence, and/or photograph in any
future publicity, including Internet publication, carried out by the Sponsor without compensation.
The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate, discontinue, modify or suspend the Contest
at any time.
With the exception of information provided for the purposes of subscribing to e-billing and/or PAP,
information permitted for the purpose of entering the Contest will only be used for the purpose of
administering the Contest. By entering this Contest, participants agree to be bound by these Official Contest
Rules and to the Sponsor's and Agency's collection, use and disclosure of personal information, as provided for
in these Rules.
