Job Summary:
Responsible for collaborating with teachers on planning for the effective use of technology for teaching
and learning including modeling instructional strategies.
Qualifications:
Education and Certification:
Required:
• Pennsylvania Level II teaching certification
Preferred:
• Instructional Technology Specialist certificate desired.
Experience:
•
Minimum of 6 years of successful teaching experience

Demonstrated proficiency in the integration of technology

facilitate coaching and staff development

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with teachers on planning for the effective use of technology for teaching and learning
including modeling instructional strategies.
2. Assist teachers with the preparation and use of present and emerging technology tools and resources.
3. Assist teachers in the integration of technology within the curriculum, to facilitate teaching and
learning.
4. Assist teachers with incorporating instructional technology standards into the curricula.
5. Collaborate with curriculum leaders and building principals in identifying, evaluating, and planning
for the effective implementation of new instructional technology resources.
6. Provide technology support for emerging instructional programs.
7. Conduct on-going professional development in the use of new hardware and software, and strategies
for using new and emerging technologies, with guidance from the building principals and curriculum
leaders.
8. Model the effective use of technology integration strategies and multiple technologies into
curriculum and instructional practices across content areas.
9. Collaborate with administrators, department coordinators, instructional coaches and curriculum
leaders to plan for professional development.
10. Maintain an active working and cooperative relationship with the Director of Technology, principals,
curriculum leaders, and the other instructional coaches within the district.
11. Work as an effective team member to collectively meet the instructional needs of the district.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
