ENVIRONMENT POLICY
Southern Vulcanizing are specialists in the supply and repair of conveyor belts.
New belting supplied by major manufacturers is fitted to conveyors across a wide range of
purposes and industries. Since rubber is a raw material which is from partially sustainable
sources we consider it our environmental duty to use it responsibly. To this end we repair
customer’s conveyors with the optimal amount of materials to optimize the life span of
their equipment thus reducing unnecessary use of a raw material. It is therefore our policy
to reduce the use of environmentally damaging materials in our work and to continually
search for more environmentally friendly materials. This commits us to the following
points:

To comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations;

To practice continual improvement in our environmental management;
3.
To prevent any of our activities polluting the environment;
4.
To comply with the principles and requirements of ISO 14001;
5.
To regularly review this policy and use it to set objectives which can be
demonstrate objectively our environmental performance;
6.
To train our personnel to be environmentally responsible in the use of
materials required for the repairing rubber conveyors.
