Carlos Rojas – Assistant Coach

Carlos Rojas – Assistant Coach
Biography: Carlos is now entering his inaugural season
of junior college baseball after 11 seasons of high school
baseball with duties ranging from program pitching coach
at Mira Costa to Head Coach at St. Bernard in 2013. He
has over 35 years of baseball experience including
playing, coaching, managing, and umpiring the game. He
goes the extra mile sometimes putting work, family, and
hobbies second to a player's workout. On a personal
note, he likes to always communicate the importance of
family, scholastics, and developing a work ethic on and
off the field. He credits his family's patience and
acceptance to his successes at Mira Costa High School,
St. Bernard High School, and running a very successful
Manhattan Beach Senior League. He is married to Ines,
his wife of 23+ years, and has 2 boys: Chris and Danny,
who both played collegiate baseball. He also has a
beautiful daughter Jackie, who is currently at LaVerne
University and a member of both the swimming and
water polo programs. His pride and joy happens to be
players that return to share their successes in life
thanking him for a lesson learned. He calls it, "The
reason why he coaches."
