Azim Premji University and Ramanujan Mathematical Society Announces A Series of Two Day Workshops for Mathematics Teachers Bangalore, June 01, 2015: Azim Premji University and Ramanujan Mathematical Society (RMS) have announced a cluster of workshops for Mathematics teachers of class 9 to 12 at Bangalore, according to the following schedule. Each workshop will witness participation from around fifty teachers from neighbouring schools in the city. Two teachers from each school can participate in the program. The workshops will be held at Jain College, JC Road campus. (near Corporation / Ravindra Kalakshetra ), Bangalore. The registration is now open and will close on 18th June 2015. The main objective of the workshop is to provide a platform for Indian Mathematics teachers from across the country to share and advance their knowledge and experience in the subject. RMS sessions will be based on topics carefully selected to suit the teachers’ needs and interests. Azim Premji University’s sessions will be based on high school mathematics and is conducted in collaboration with At Right Angles, a high school mathematics resource which is a joint production of Azim Premji University and Community Mathematics Centre. At Right Angles is addressed to mathematics teachers, teacher educators and students connected with the subject.
