As per the praclice at the Institute, such Ph.D. scholars are required to perform the TA duty of 8 Hrs./week during the
extension period also.
2.
(i)
For Resular M.S. scholars:
As per the provisions in the M.S. Ordinance & Regulations, the M.S. scholars, who are not able to submit their thesis
within 3 years from the date of registration, may be given extension of one year. However, during the first six months
of the extension period such scholars will be given only 50% of the last paid scholarship from the institute.

No scholarship will be paid beyond six months of the extension period.
During this period of extension, such scholars continue to perform usual duties as assigned to M.S. Scholars.
