Schools that use The New Zealand Curriculum for their students in years 1 to
8 must use this template to report school-level data on National Standards.
Important please note: Do not include any information in this template that will result in an
individual student or their achievement being identified. In cases where a cohort is less than four
students you should not specify ethnic groups or group breakdowns in order to prevent breaching
the privacy of individuals.

NAG2A (b)(i) Areas of Strength

support your identified areas of strength. The cohorts you identify could be a

NAG2A (b)(iii) Planned Actions for Lifting Achievement

what actions you will take to improve student progress and achievement. The
actions should be linked to your identified areas for improvement. As part of your
school’s self-review, these actions should also be outlined in your charter for the
coming school year.
NAG2A (b) (iv) Progress Statement
Discussion: Click here to start typing your comments. In this section you discuss the
progress made by students by comparing the achievement of cohorts to their
previous year’s achievement or from the start of the year until the end of the year.
You can provide information about students who may not have made shifts on the
National Standards four-point scale but have still made considerable progress.
Please remember to protect the privacy of individual students when recording your
comments.
