Ladybridge High School Uniform Policy and other information.
At Ladybridge High School we expect all students to look smart at all times and to act as role models in terms
of both conduct and appearance. To this end, all students, without exception, are expected to follow our
Uniform Policy and wear it correctly at all times. Students who arrive to school in incorrect uniform may be
sent home to change.
 Black blazer with badge
 V necked black jumper with badge.
 Traditional white school shirt for boys and girls, to be tucked in neatly with the top button fastened.
 Clip on school tie.
 Formal, black school trousers or skirts with badge are compulsory.
 For girls: plain, opaque black tights or plain black ankle socks. For boys: plain black socks.
 Formal, traditional black school shoes. These must be without logos/flashes/tabs/different coloured
trimmings. Boots, trainers/trainer ‘lookalikes’ or soft pumps are not allowed.
Additionally, please note:
 Make-up, nail varnish, acrylic nails must not be worn.
 All hair accessories must be plain black and discreet.
 Headscarves must be plain black.
 Extreme hairstyles in terms of colour, cut, beaded additions, and extensions are not permitted. Hair
must not be shaved less than a number 2 cut. Shaved patterns in the hair or shaved eye brows are not
permitted.
 Jewellery, apart from a wristwatch, is not allowed for safety reasons.
 Piercings of any type must be removed for school.
 Outdoor coats must not be worn inside school.
 All students must bring to school a proper school bag, a full set of writing equipment [pens, pencils, ruler, maths
equipment] and their Peak Performance Manual every day.
