and SKILLS COMPETITION

U8 through U14 Home Run Derby & 2 Skills Events = $15 if registration received by June 1st ($20 day of event)
High School / Adult Home Run Derby = $10 if registration received by June 1st ($15 day of event)
CONCESSIONS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE HOME RUN DERBY - PLEASE, NO CARRY-INS.

All registrants much check in by 7:00 pm prior to participating in any event. No registrations after 7:00 pm.
All youth batters (U14 and under) must wear batting helmets!
Each player gets 7 outs. Each ball hit that is not a Home Run is counted as an out. An out consists of any pitch
that is swung upon and missed, fouled, or not hit over the fence on a fly.
Balls that are batted over the fence in fair territory are home runs and are not outs.
Pitchers will be available for all batters, or you may supply your own pitcher.
Tie Breaker: If age group leaders are tied after 7 outs, a swing-off will determine the champion. Each swing-off
participant will get 3 outs. Most home runs in the swing-off will determine 1st and 2nd place.
Trophies will be awarded to 1st and 2nd place in all events for each age group.
Each age group will have a “lane”. Every group and event will begin at 6:00 PM with expectations to finish all
competitions by 8:30 PM. Trophies will be given for each age group for each event after conclusion of final event.

LIABILITY WAIVER: In consideration of my child’s participation in the New Berlin Magic Home Run Derby, I hereby release the New Berlin Magic and
its volunteers from any and all liability arising from any injury my child incurs while participating in the Home Run Derby and Skill Events which
includes, but is not limited to, injuries associated with being hit by a baseball or baseball bat. I understand that payment is non-refundable.
