As a member of the APPOINTED BOARD you will be expected to…

Small-Scale Service Chair
Describe three new small-scale service projects that you would be interested in planning. How would this expand the
diversity of our service program or foster better relations with other organizations?
Large-Scale Service Chair
Describe one new large-scale service project with a budget of $1000. Describe another new large-scale service project
with a budget of $500. How would you plan and execute these two events and how would these events create a
meaningful impact on the community?
Kiwanis Family Networking Chair (CKI, Aktion, Kiwanis)
Describe a new method you would use to promote participation of other Circle K members in our activities, and
another method to strengthen our relations with the Metro Division. In addition, describe a project you would like to
co-host or create with our sponsoring Kiwanis Club.
Kiwanis Family Youth Chair (Key Club, KIWIN’S, Builder’s, K-Kids)
Describe at least two different methods you would use to reach out or work with the high school branches of the
Kiwanis family beyond Key to College. Additionally, describe three new service events you could implement with either
K-Kids or Builders Club.
Small-Scale Fundraising Chair
Describe two small-scale fundraisers, one you would hold on Bruin Walk and one dealing with a food delivery
fundraiser, and include estimated cost and profit. How would these fundraisers attract people outside of Circle K
International? How would these fundraisers differ from the typical fundraising events?
Large-scale Fundraising Chair
Describe a large-scale fundraising event that you would be interested in planning, including estimated cost and profit.
How would this event attract people outside of Circle K International, and how would you educate these people on the
three District Fundraising Initiatives?
Membership Development and Education Chair
Describe ways in which service can be incorporated within the family system. In addition, describe two new large scale
family events, along with improvements to the current family system.
Member Experience and Retention Chair
Describe what you think defines the role of a godparent. In addition, how would you address the problem of old
member retention within the club? How will you get older members more involved within the club?
Graphic Design Chair
Design and describe two apparel ideas: 1. for new CKI apparel (i.e. shirt, sweater, beanie, etc.) that would appeal to all of
Circle K International, and 2. for a club t-shirt with the hypothetical theme of "Disney" without using copyrighted
characters, encompassing the three tenets of Service, Leadership, and Fellowship. Please attach a sketch/draft of both
designs.
Technology Chair
Describe two ways you could improve the website that would increase functionality and traffic. Explain how these
changes would benefit the club and the members.
Spirit and Recognition Chair
Create one new cheer for the club, and explain how you would plan to educate members about the cheers. Also,
describe how the current recognition programs (drivers, swipers, MRP, etc.) can be improved on and when to present
these.
