1) Team and Game Structure 2) Field 3) Rules

1) Team and Game Structure
- (IDEALLY) teams consist of 9 players
- Games consist of 6 complete Innings
- Each Participating player plays 4 innings and receives bullpen training (see below) for 2
consecutive complete Innings.
- Each of the 6 participating players will bat during the game , 3 outs does not end an inning (6
batters per inning, Bullpen Players do not bat)
- The 6 defensive players are Catcher, 3rd base,Shortstop , 2nd base, 1st base. The 6th player
can either play in the pitchers normal position (parallel to either side of the machine but
outside the SAFETY Circle)or
anywhere within the infield but beyond the pitching machine
- No player plays anywhere beyond the imaginary outfield line or grass line if one is there (all
infielders)
2) Field
- Bases will be 60 Feet
- Pitching machine 42 feet
- Safety circle (18 foot diameter with pitching machine being center point)
- Dead ball zone ( 10 foot radius from the back of home plate)
3) Rules
BATTER
-Batter receives a maximum of 5 pitches (the 5th being a ball placed on a Tee) Player may opt
out and receive 5th from machine
- Batted balls remaining in dead zone are considered foul
- The fifth pitch is final regardless if fair or foul. If foul the batter is out.
- fly balls and line drives that are caught are outs. Runners may advance 1 base only providing,
they tag up properly and advance immediately after doing such.
- There are no strikeouts
- If ball hits pitching machine batter and all runners are awarded 1 base
RUNNER
- Player must tag ORANGE SAFETY BAG when achieving first. Each player not doing so must be
warned (nicely)
- Players may only leave occupied base on contact (when ball is actually hit)
- If batted ball passes over the infielders in the air batter is awarded 2 base hit and all runners
also move 2 bases.
- if batted ball passes all infielders on the ground and reaches outfield batter is awarded single
and all runners advance 1 base.
- no player may advance to the next base other then on the actual hit. In other words on an
awarded 2 base hit they get two bases all other plays they can only advance 1 base regardless
of where the ball is thrown etc etc etc
BACK CATCHER
- The starting catchers will be their teams first hitter in the first inning.
- In all other innings the catcher for your teams next defensive inning will be the lead off hitter.
This gives you plenty of time to have him/her dressed and ready to take the field . No other
players in the batting order need to be moved simply the order stays the same throughout
other then the catcher going to the front each inning.
