Tell RO you have created Draft
Request Off line templates from Xtine
Fill them in – don’t forget a CCW!! – no overheads, indirect salary or salary costs
Send to Xtine for checking
Once all finalised you, me or Tina can upload the info from Template and Project
plan and Budget to the Portal
When all is finished the RO will submit on your behalf , print out CCW and
printable version of Request for signing
THINGS TO BE WARY OFF
•
You cannot delete anything on the portal – i.e. uploaded documents can only be
deleted by long tortuous process through LHR and Dunedin RO
•
There appears to be no word/page limits for information…
•
Research equipment requests – require evidence of shared usage – we upload this as
a supporting document.
•
Scholarship requests academic transcript – doesn’t need to be verified copy it would
appear but if you wish to do so bring all to me and I will sign off as copies in role as a
JP.
•
Save files for uploading in one folder on your computer- call them Surname project
plan, surname Budget, Surname Ethics etc..
•
Drafts due to me 10th August - Finals by 17 August please
