PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
DATES OF PROMOTION/ENTRY PERIOD: The Dominion Virginia/North Carolina Power (“Dominion”) ePay 2016
Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) on October 19, 2016 and ends at
11:59 p.m. ET on December 1, 2016 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to persons who are a legal U.S. resident, with a residency in the
states of Virginia or North Carolina and are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry (the “Entrant”).
Business entities are not eligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. Officers, directors, managers and employees
(including immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of
where they reside) and members of the same household, whether or not related) of Dominion Resources, Inc. (the
“Sponsor”) and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates and related companies; licensees,
distributors, retailers, dealers, printers, advertising and promotion agencies; consultants and agents; and any others
engaged in the development, production, execution or distribution of this Sweepstakes are not eligible to participate
or win a prize. This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes
may be void outside the states of Virginia and North Carolina and wherever else restricted or prohibited by law.
ENTRY PERIODS: There will be one (1) drawing during the Sweepstakes Period, of which one (1) prize winner (a
“Prize Winner”) will be selected at random and will receive a prize (the “Prize”), subject to verification and as further
defined in the “WINNING/NOTIFICATION” and “PRIZE” section of these Official Rules.

Limit of one (1) entry per person during the entire Sweepstakes Period.
HOW TO ENTER: There are two (2) ways to enter the Sweepstakes:
1. Perform an online transaction: Customers who pay their electric bill via their online Dominion
account i.e. free, same-day payments from their bank account, through automatic bank draft, or with an
accepted credit, debit card, or electronic check will automatically receive one (1) entry into the
Sweepstakes drawing.
2. Alternate Method of Entry (“AMOE”): To enter the Sweepstakes without being a Dominion
Virginia/North Carolina customer and/or without performing an online transaction, you may enter by
mail as follows: On a plain 3” x 5” card, legibly handprint or type your first name, last name, complete
address, city, state, zip code, home phone number (including area code) date of birth, and email
address (if any) and mail your completed 3” x 5” card to: “Dominion ePay 2016 Sweepstakes”, 701

East Cary Street, 18 Floor, Richmond, VA 23219. Each envelope shall equal one (1) entry. Limit of
one (1) entry by mail per person during the Entry Period. Entries must be mailed based upon the Entry
Period’s “postmark” and “receive by” dates as outlined below:

Multiple entries submitted by a single Entrant or in the same envelope are void. Entries submitted or
completed by anyone other than the Entrant are void. No mechanical reproductions will be accepted.
Sponsor will not verify receipt of entries for Entrants. All entries submitted become the sole property of
Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, illegible,
damaged or postage due AMOE entries.
Regardless of the method used to enter the Sweepstakes, either via Online Entry or AMOE the maximum
number of entries allowed during the Sweepstakes Period is one (1). Any attempt by any Entrant to obtain
more than the stated number of entries by using multiple/different email addresses, telephone numbers, identities,
and/or any other methods (including, but not limited to making multiple payments in a single Entry Period for the
purposes of obtaining additional entries) will void that Entrant’s entries and that Entrant may be disqualified from
the Sweepstakes. In the event of uncertainty as to the identity of an Entrant entering via an online transaction
(“Online Entry”), the Entrant will be deemed to be the first named person of the Dominion account associated with
the Manage Your Account activity. Limit of one (1) prize per person during the Sweepstakes Period.
WINNING/NOTIFICATION: There will be one (1) random drawing held on or about December 19, 2016. For the
Entry Period, one (1) Prize Winner will be selected at random from among all eligible entries received during the
Entry Period. Odds of being selected as a Prize Winner in the drawing are dependent upon the total number of
eligible entries received.
The random drawing decisions are based upon Sponsor’s discretion and interpretation of these Official Rules and
are final and binding in all respects. Any Prize Winner who entered the Sweepstakes via Online Entry must have an
account in good standing upon selection, subject to verification. The Potential Prize Winner will be notified by mail
upon receipt of his/her Prize. In the event a Prize is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be considered forfeited
and an alternate Prize Winner will be selected at random from amongst all remaining non-winning eligible entries
received in the Entry Period.
PRIZE: One (1) Prize of a tablet will be awarded to the Prize Winner. The Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the
Prize is $400.00.
The Prize cannot be substituted, assigned, transferred, or redeemed for cash; except at
Sponsor’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a
prize of comparable or greater value if advertised Prize should become unavailable. Sponsor will not replace any
lost or stolen Prize. The Prize Winner is solely responsible for any taxes on the Prize he/she has received,
including but not limited to any and all federal, state and local taxes. No more than the stated number of Prizes set
forth in these Official Rules will be awarded. Limit of one (1) Prize per person throughout the entire
Sweepstakes Period. The Prize will be awarded within six (6) to eight (8) weeks from the date in which the Prize
Winner is confirmed. Name of Prize manufacturers/trademark owners are used solely for the purposes of
identification of the Prize. No endorsement, authorization, sponsorship, or approval of Prize
manufacturers/trademark owners is intended or implied by such use. The Potential Prize Winner consents to
Sponsor’s use of their name, likeness, biographical information, and voice in advertising worldwide without
additional notice or compensation.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Should any portion of the Sweepstakes be, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, compromised
by non-authorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole discretion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair
the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole
discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes and conduct the Sweepstakes in a manner
which in its sole discretion is fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by
Sponsor will be posted at the Sponsor’s website. In such event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the Prize at
random from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Sponsor reserves the right in
their sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the
Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify or reject any incomplete, inaccurate or false entry. ANY ATTEMPT BY
ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS
A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW, AND, SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR
RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT
PERMITTED BY LAW. SPONSOR'S FAILURE TO ENFORCE ANY TERM OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL
NOT CONSTITUTE A WAIVER OF THESE PROVISIONS.
RELEASE: By participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and each of
their parent companies, respective officers, directors, managers, employees, subsidiaries, affiliated entities, agents,
members, shareholders, insurers, servants, guests, divisions, predecessors, successors, representatives, assigns,
attorneys, dealers, distributors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies (collectively, the “Released Parties”)
from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt, redemption
or use of any Prize.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The Released Parties do not have any responsibility or liability whatsoever for: (i);
unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (ii) electronic or human error
which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; (iii) any property loss,
damage, personal injury, or death, in connection with the Prize provided pursuant to this Sweepstakes and/or any
person’s participating in the Sweepstakes; (iv) any printing or typographical errors in any Sweepstakes-related
materials; (v) stolen, lost, late, misdirected, corrupted, incomplete, indecipherable or postage-due entries; or (vi)
technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, mobile device, cable,
network, hardware or software as applicable.
ENTRANTS PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected from Entrants is subject to Sponsor’s privacy
policy, located at http://www.dom.com/privacy.jsp; and in accordance with the Privacy Policies found at each
individual financial institution (if applicable).
WINNER’S LIST/RULES REQUEST: For the name of the Prize Winner or a copy of these Official Rules, please
submit a self-addressed, stamped envelope by January 1, 2017 to “ePay 2016 Sweepstakes,” “Winner’s List” or

be obtained at the Sponsor’s website during the Sweepstakes Period.
