administration. We are currently looking for a Control Theory/Algorithms Developer to
support our customer in Germany.
Control Theory/Algorithms Developer
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
For our customer in Germany we are looking for an engineer with background in control
theory to generate algorithms to ensure the thermal stability of various instruments
being developed by the company.
You will have the following responsibilities:

Support the definition of thermal control loops for different optical instruments;
Development of plant ‎models incl. system identification, physical modelling,
parameter ‎estimation;
Perform thermal sensitivity studies for signal chain precision;
Identify disturbances, define sensor and actuator characteristics and models
(where not already available);
Development of controller (incl. analysis, design, optimization, algorithm);
Development of control system model (Matlab/Simulink model) and analysis of
system performance and margins.
Skills & Experience
You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

University or polytechnic degree in Physics or Engineering (PhD welcomed);
Pronounced mathematical skills;
Practical experience in the application of control theory and detailed
knowledge ‎concerning the definition of control systems;
Experience with the programming language MATLAB / Simulink and
data ‎processing;
Knowledge of thermal control would be an asset;
Fluent in English in reading and writing.
