DEE GANLEY CPDT,CABC Saturday, October 3rd, 2010 10 – 1 pm Introduction to Scent Nose Work – for inside play/work Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. This class will focus on teaching you how to encourage and develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise Plus, this class will also advance the dog’s scent discrimination skills taught in the basic nose work class- we will be matching an odor to a simple behavior that the dog already knows; like sit or down. It’s a great workshop for your dog and you to have fun, build confidence working as a team and burn lots of mental and physical energy and to find out just how you can help develop your dog’s nose. Dee has been instrumental in bringing Positive Reinforcement Training to the New England area, including its shelters, and has helped thousands of dogs and their owners with serious issues such as aggression and separation anxiety. She owns Dee Ganley Dog Training Services, and authored “Changing People Changing Dogs.” Has competed in Schutzhund- and AKC and SAR dog air scent and tracking work.
