Important Information

Registration for camp is open only to “Y” members in good standing. Family Membership is a
required component. For more info refer to our website.

All fees must be paid in full prior to the start of camp, unless special arrangements have been
made with our accounting office. Membership, Health & Registration Forms must be completed and
returned.

Neither CAMP FEES nor MEMBERSHIP FEES are refundable even in cases of dismissal, absence
or withdrawal of the child


Details about your child(ren)’s camp can be found in the 2017 Camp Handbook (available mid-June)
Each camper will receive a camp T-shirt and drawstring backpack.

Y-HO-CA (Kindergarten – 6th grade) Our most “historical” camp, this one
dates way back over 50 years! Y-HO-CA stands for “Y” HOME CAMP, which it
has been for over 5 decades to thousands of campers in our area. Serving a
diverse population, this camp proudly blends multiple cultures within our
Jewish Agency, in a traditional Day Camp setting.

Additional Information
Catered Lunch is included in your camp tuition. Jerusalem Restaurant of
Elizabeth, is the camp lunch provider, offers a wide and creative menu. A full
menu will be included in your camp packet. On trip days please send a brown
bag lunch. (Please refer to your camp calendar for trip schedule).
Transportation – Provided by Durham School Services, with an outstanding safety
record, seatbelts & radios. Drivers have passed criminal background checks, drug
& alcohol testing. Transportation available in selected areas, please inquire.
 Theme days and special events
 Balanced schedule of age appropriate activities including: Cooking,
nature, drama, music, arts & crafts, sports and more
Jerusalem at the “NOSH” –The snack bar will be open from 8:45 am – 4:30 pm providing
additional drinks, snacks, novelties & healthy selections. Canteen accounts are welcome.

 5th, 6th Grade travel twice per week (Y-HO-CA Plus)

Camp Health – In compliance with NJ State camp licensing, a health professional
is on staff during regular camp hours. We will need an updated signed medical
form for each camper. Without this your child(ren) may not be allowed to
participate in activities or leave the building. It is essential that you list all
allergies, medications and special needs.
Early Drop-Off (7:15am) Late Pick-UP (6:00 pm) are available. Additional
activities, games, movies & snacks will be supervised.
