training categories.

Health and Safety Training
What is it?
All staff and teaching faculty at OCCC are required to attend one health
and safety course every quarter. The quarters of the Fiscal Year are as
follows:
1st Quarter: July-September:
Blood Borne Pathogens
2nd Quarter: October-December:
Hazards Communications
3rd Quarter: January-March:
Severe Weather Safety
4th Quarter: April-June: Choose
one from three options

Where is it?
Health and Safety trainings can be completed in two places:
1. Teacher In-Services
1. Fall In-Service is in August
2. Spring In-Service is in January
2. Online through Moodle
1. Employees receive an email with instructions and a link to follow from
Risk Management.
2. Use your Mineonline login and password to log into Moodle.
Tip! You can usually open the training and the quiz simultaneously to save time.

accepted by OCCC. OCCC’s
trainings are specific to the
college; therefore, all employees
must complete the OCCC
trainings.
Note: New employees must
