Vacation is a welcome break!
But for students as well as for you, vacations have become
synonymous with summer. Is it not? So why not utilize this golden
period for family reunion and reiterate your family ties with your kids
and relatives. Gear up and utilize your time in the best possible manner.
Go ahead with some unique fun activities with your kids. Let’s cheer
for the 3R’s- Rejuvenation, Relaxation and Rebonding !

“FIX A GOAL AND STRIVE HARD EACH DAY TO ACHIEVE IT!”
Here are few goals for you to follow ………
CLASS MAGAZINE
1. Every student should bring his contribution to the class magazine in
any field of his/her interest.(short story, crossword puzzles with
answers below, mathematics puzzles with answers below, articles,
drawings, innovative thoughts ……..)
2. Contributions should be in neat unruled A4 size sheet with passport
size photograph, name, and class written at the top right corner.
3. Minimum contribution: one side of A4 sheet
4. Maximum contribution: two sheets of A4 sheet
5. Total maximum no of sheets from a class would be: 60
6. It should be handed over to the class teacher on 10th September 2017.
English
1. Community Outreach (Family Outing)
Write 8-10 sentences on the given topic – My Visit To ……with
my family. It can be any place like hill station, a zoo,
Grandparent’s place etc. You can also stick 3-4 photographs to make it
colourful.
2. A child’s life is full of stories. Each day is filled with interesting
incidents. So, enjoy your holidays reading interesting stories. (Eg- Fairy
tales, Moral stories) Write one good thing you learnt from any two stories
and pick out 10 new words and write their meanings.
EVS
1. Creative Activity
Take A-4 size white paper and draw lines to separate it into three
horizontal sections. Label the top as air, the middle as land and the bottom
as water. Sponge paint the sky blue, glue cotton balls as clouds. Cover the
land with green / brown paper and colour the water blue and paste the
pictures of different animals in their correct habitat.
2. Paper craft-Design your own cloth.
Make a shirt or a frock with paper and decorate it.
MATH
1. Bowling Dice-:
Take a dice and roll it twice to get a 2 digit number. Repeat the same and
then add both numbers.
Ex. 46

-----Write the sum on an A4 size paper. Repeat the activity at least 10 times.
2. Find out the height (in cms) and weight (in kgs) of your family members
and answer the following questions in your math note book:(a) Who is the tallest member in the family - write height also?
(b) Who has maximum and minimum weight in the family - add their
weights.
(c) Arrange all the heights in ascending order.
(d) Arrange all the weights in descending order.
(e) Add weights of all members.
( f) Write the number names of the height of all members.
