Play Online player picks up Division 1 Lotto prize

Western Australia has welcomed its twenty-second Division 1 Lotto winner for
2017 after one lucky local picked up $271,775 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto
draw.
The winning ticket was one of 15 Division 1 winners nationally in the draw, with
WA’s winning ticket sold through Lotterywest Play Online.
Lotterywest spokesperson Pina Compagnone said this year’s WA Division 1
winners have now shared in almost $60 million worth of prizes.
“Almost four months into the year and we’re averaging over one Division 1 winner
a week,” Ms Compagnone said.
“This has included some memorable moments including two $15 million wins just
within a month.”
Over 93,000 other West Aussies picked up a prize in the weekend’s Saturday
Lotto draw including 20 players who each collected just over $5,000 in Division 2.
When you play with Lotterywest – all of WA wins with a third of money spent on
Lotterywest games supporting the WA community.
This includes a Lotterywest Grant over just over $1 million to The Returned &
Services League WA State Branch to support a range of this year’s ANZAC
commemoration activities.
