Bear takes a Break
If Bear is getting too upset, the
teachers will ask him to take a break.
Bear will go behind the red line in the
break area.
Bear can sit down, lay down, or stand
up.
The really important rule is to stay
behind the red line. When Bear is
behind the red line, the teachers leave
Bear alone.
When Bear is frustrated, he can ask for
his own break, too.
I need a break.
Bear can choose where to take a
break.
When Bear chooses break table, he
can choose an activity from the
bucket.
After taking a break, Bear talks to a
teacher about his feelings.
Once he is feeling calm, he finishes his
work
