On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we'd like to invite you to participate in one of Capitol
Hill's best bipartisan traditions: the 2017 Congressional Baseball Game for Charity.
Batting practices are already under way for Republicans and Democrats. Staffers are gearing up
to come out and cheer for their side. Last year, more than 9,000 fans turned out, generating
some of the most exciting moments yet in Congressional baseball history.
This year, we're returning to Nationals Park on Thursday, June 15th at 7:05pm. As part of our
tradition, we'll have pre-game festivities at the ballpark and presentation of the coveted Roll
Call trophy on the field after the last out.
The Roll Call trophy may or may not change hands, but the real winners are the Washington
Literacy Center, The Washington Nationals Dream Foundation and the Boys and Girls Club of
Greater Washington. In 2016, we raised a total of over $500,000 for the charities and we hope
that in 2017 we can raise even more.
You can participate in this grand bipartisan tradition by becoming a game sponsor. The
sponsorship levels are: $1,000 Fan; $2,500 Super Fan; $5,000-$10,000 Home Run; $12,000
Grand Slam; $20,000 Major League; $25,000 All-Star; and $50,000 Hall of Fame. You will find
sponsorship information in this package. To ensure published credit, we ask that sponsors
confirm their participation by Friday, May 26, 2017.
The Congressional Baseball Game for Charity is a Capitol Hill tradition going back over 50
years. Members of Congress take a step back from their differences and enjoy one of America's
