Coach Sue McDonough is completing her
seventh year as Ursinus College’s head
women’s tennis coach. She is PTR
certified and comes with over twenty
years of teaching/coaching experience.
She was named the Centennial Conference
Coach of the Year in the 2008-2009
tennis season.

Send your child to join us in our sixth
consecutive year with coaches Sue and Karen
at Skippack’s scenic Palmer Park to enjoy
some serious fun learning the fundamentals of
tennis or adding to existing skills. At PPTC,
our PTR (Professional Tennis Registry) based
program follows a progression of stroke
mechanics applicable to all ages and
abilities. Ground strokes, volleys, serves
and even scoring will be taught throughout
the week and reinforced with instructional,
high-energy games. We’re looking forward to
a summer filled with the excitement of
tennis, friendships and fitness. Come join
us!

Karen is in her second year as the
Assistant Coach at Ursinus College for
the Women’s Team. As a PTR certified
teaching pro, Karen has over 15 years
experience teaching and playing tennis
in the Philadelphia and Atlanta areas.
She is a certified personal trainer and
is available to assist players in all
aspects of fitness both on and off the
court, including speed and agility
training.
Registration Information
Please ensure your child brings his/her own
racquet, water, and sneakers. In the event
of rain, a make-up class will be offered.
