LOVE & LEAN WALK FOR MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS: It’s
time to break the silence and stop the stigma. It’s time to
acknowledge the facts and embrace the millions suffering from
mental illness every day. It’s time to tear down the barriers that
prevent churches, schools, and individuals from discussing this
relevant topic and tackle the subject head on, without shame,
denial, or guilt. It’s time to get educated. It’s time to offer hope.
Please register for the walk and join us at 8:30 a.m. on April 29 at
the Zeeland East Soccer Field! A proclamation by Mayor Klynstra
at the walk's opening ceremony will kick off Zeeland's 1st Annual
"be nice" Community Action month in May. Walk in memory of
someone, in support of someone struggling with mental fitness, to
be encouraged if you yourself are struggling or just come and
support this great cause. The Love & Lean Walk (approx. 3 miles)
is being held in Zeeland, however, we are inviting everyone to join
us! Go to https://loveandleanwalk.eventbrite.com for more details
and to register. Proceeds from the walk will help The Mental Health
Foundation of West Michigan continue mental fitness education in
