Terms
1. 50% downpayment must be made at least 7 days before the event for the
reservation to hold. 50% balance will be paid on actual event date.
2. Menu changes will be accommodated up to 5 days before the scheduled event,
afterwhich menu selection will be deemed final.
3. Cancellation policy: At least 7 days before the event - no charge. At least 5 days
before the event - 20% of total minimum consumable amount penalty. Less than 5
days before the event - 50% of total minimum consumable amount penalty.
4. Cash, card, bank deposit and cheque payment accepted. Please make cheques

Tabletop game is a general term used to refer to board games, card games, dice games, miniatures
wargames, tile-based games and other games that are normally played on a table or other flat
surface.

What are the benefits of playing tabletop games?








Have fun and feel good. Putting our phones down and sharing laughter and fun releases
endorphins and promotes empathy, compassion and trust with others.
Learning life skills. All of our board games teach us to take turns, play to win, follow the
rules, and handle defeat.
Bonding time. Playing games with your kids, or with your friends, is a perfect way to spend
time together and an excellent way to strengthen bonds.
Memory formation and cognitive skills. Allowing your kids to play a board game helps
them practice essential cognitive skills, like problem solving. Board games help the brain
retain and build cognitive associations well into old age too.

it and building it stronger. A stronger brain has lower risks of losing its power.

locating the target than those who didn’t play.

Why is it so enjoyable?
We may now live in a world of Facebook, Pokémon Go, Netflix and iPads, but the fun of face-toface interaction is irreplaceable, and we’re bringing it back through board-gaming. Everybody’s
busy and we want to bring people back together in a way that’s not just staring at screens. We
believe we are supposed to be together and communicating with each other. Board games make
these possible.
How old do I have to be to enjoy tabletop and board games?
Anyone can enjoy tabletop games. We have games for toddlers, teenagers, young professionals, for
families and even for senior citizens!
How many should we be in order to play games?
We recommend a minimum of 2, and a maximum of 10 in a group. Most games are best played
with 4 players.
Aren’t board games hard?
We have easy games that relieve stress, we have moderate-difficulty games that stimulate your
mind and skill just right, but we also have hard games that will put your strategic thinking to the
test.
How can we memorize the rules?
At Hungry Meeples, we have Game Gurus who can teach you the games. They’ll even play with you
