M OVE TO 2020 C AREY A VENUE
The Secretary of State’s Office is relocating to 2020 Carey Avenue during the Capitol Renovation and
Restoration project. We will begin moving November 16th and expect the move to be complete by November
20th. Although our location is changing, all phone numbers, email addresses, and points of contact remain
the same.
We will remain open for business at the Capitol Building through November 17th. However, we ask for your
patience during the move as responses to phone calls may not be as prompt as we would like. There will be
periods of time where specific staff will have limited access to phone and email. Business will continue at
2020 Carey Avenue for all traffic areas beginning November 19th, 2015.
2020 Carey Avenue also hosts several private businesses, including U.S. Bank. Out of respect for the bank,
we urge you to avoid foot traffic through the lobby of the bank. There are two entrances into the building
that will get you to the Secretary of State’s Offices:


Pioneer Avenue Entrance (under construction until 2016)
20th Street Entrance (also a handicapped accessible entrance; door is at the bottom of the ramp)
