You will automatically be entered into the draw when you register to host a gig at
www.oxjam.org.au and fulfil the Entry Terms & Conditions, unless you opt out via the
checkbox

Entry Terms & Conditions
The "Win two OXJAM Access All Areas passes to BIGSOUND” promotion is open to all residents of
Australia aged 18 and over, except employees and families of the Promoter and its affiliate
organisations, agencies and anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Entry is only valid if
all details on the OXJAM Registration Form are fully and validly completed.
Entries are submitted by registering to host an OXJAM gig at www.oxjam.org.au . Registration forms
require entrants to fill out their personal details. Competition entries open at [7 June 2017] 09:00am
AEST and close at [21 July 2017] 11:55pm AEST.
The “Win two OXJAM Access All Areas passes to BIGSOUND” promotion is a game of skill. There will
be one winner, being the entry judged by the Promoter as the most creative OXJAM gig page, hosted
on www.oxjam.org.au, and complying with the following criteria:
 Register a fundraising gig before 21 July 2017
 When creating your event page include as much detail as possible, including photos,
headers, music, Facebook event integration, Spotify playlists, SoundCloud playlists and blog
entries.
 Follow OXJAM Australia’s Facebook Page
 Share your OXJAM event page on Facebook and tag OXJAM Australia on Facebook
(https://www.facebook.com/oxjamau/)
The gig address does not need to be made public in order to win. Winners will be shortlisted by an
Oxfam Australia staff member and the winner chosen by a panel of three music industry professionals
on 28 July 2017. The winner will be announced on www.oxjam.org.au on 1 August 2017.
The Promoters’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the winner decides to
pass on the prize or the winner cannot attend BIGSOUND on the given dates, a runner up will be
selected.
There is one major prize consisting of:



Two Purple Passes (Access All Areas) to BIGSOUND [September 5-8, 2017] in Brisbane,
QLD
Return economy flights for two people from the nearest capital city in Australia to Brisbane,
Queensland.
Three nights’ accommodation in Brisbane, QLD for two people [checking in, Tuesday 5
September and checking out, Friday 8 September, 2017] at a hotel selected by Oxfam
Australia and QMusic
The prize does not include:



Any Transfers (including, but not limited to, from your place of residence to or from the airport,
to or from the airport to your hotel or to or from the hotel to BIGSOUND)
Meals or Beverages
Travel insurance
The above expenses, and any other expenses associated with taking the prize, are the responsibility
of the prize winner.
The Winner will, after attending BIGSOUND, be required to:


Write a blog entry on your OXJAM gig page, hosted on www.oxjam.org.au, based on your
winning of the BIGSOUND Access All Areas passes
Supply photos and videos of your experience at BIGSOUND to Oxfam Australia and post to
social media with relevant tags.
Additionally, two runner up prizes win be awarded of either a JB Hi-Fi DJ or Acoustic pack (at the
Promoter’s option), each worth $500.
Each winner and runner up will be notified by phone and e-mail on the day of judging and will also
have their names published at www.oxjam.org.au/prizes.
The Winners must claim their prize by 6 August 2017 11:00pm. In the event that a winner does not
claim their prize, or turns down the prize, by this time a second winner will be selected on 7 August
2017. Winners of any unclaimed prize will be notified by phone and e-mail. They will have their names
published at www.oxjam.org.au/prizes
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage and/or
personal injury suffered by or to the winner and/or his/her friend that occurs as a result of the winner's
consumption of the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this promotion if, in its
absolute discretion, it considers it necessary to do so, save that the promoter shall not exercise this
right unreasonably, subject to any written approval from a relevant Regulatory Authority.
The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. If any prize (or part of any prize) is
unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the
prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a
relevant Regulatory Authority.
Dates are not flexible. The Promoter is not responsible for any delays or cancellations of flights for the
winners nor the malfunction of any ground services involved.
The Promoter reserves the right to exclude any entries which it believes to be fraudulent or based on
misconduct; infringes a third party’s intellectual property rights, or in the opinion of the Promoter,
includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting,
inflammatory or defamatory language or in any other manner, or not in accordance with these Terms
and Conditions.
This promotion and these terms are subject to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts sitting in
Australian States and Territories.
An entrant's personal data will only be held for the purpose of selecting the winner and will not be
used for any other purposes whatsoever without their prior permission. Entrants' personal information
may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names published as
required under the relevant lottery legislation. A request to access, update or correct any information
should be directed to the Promoter at their address set out below. Entrants grant the Promoter
permission to communicate with them by phone and/or e-mail in order to provide details of the prize
and/or instructions as to how the winner is to claim the prize and establish his/her entitlement to it.
Entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions by participating in this promotion.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The winner may be required to take part in
reasonable publicity. The promoter may photograph, video and/or film activities relating to acceptance
or consumption of the prize. Winners acknowledge that the promoter has the right to use such
publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium and in any reasonable manner it sees fit without
further permission from or payment to winners.
