Following the guidelines will increase the likelihood, but not guarantee, the play
you submitted will be chosen.
We reserve the right to select any piece submitted but assign a director, cast and
crew as we see fit. Submitting a play does not guarantee that you will get to
direct or act in the production If you submission is accepted, you will be asked to
meet with members of GLM’s artistic staff to discuss the production further.
We produce all genres and styles of drama with special emphasis on new work
and work that speaks to our audiences, ranging in age from 25-40.
Plays that work best in our theatre have small casts, between 2-6 actors.
However, we can accommodate up to 12 actors.
Plays should ideally be in the 60-90 minute timeframe.
We accept submissions in PDF format. PDF submissions may be sent to
[email protected]. Please include your name and the title of the work
in the subject line.
If your submission is a musical, please include a digital copy of the soundtrack
with the script.
In the body of your submission email, in less than 500 words, tell us why your
story fits into one of our many ideas.
All submissions must be received by August 7th, 2015. Submissions after this
deadline will not be processed until the following season.
