“I am a Granada Hills Charter High School Highlander and I represent the never quit spirit of
those who have gone before me and those yet to come. I will support and uphold the values of
my school by striving in the classroom and on the field, respecting my coaches, and our team
leaders. I am proud to be a part of this team and know it is a commitment that will shape and
forever change my life. I will give myself to this program through community service, hard
work, self‐sacrifice, discipline, and a willingness to compete and win”. THIS IS OUR CREED!

Coaches‐
‐ Lead by example (be a role model)
‐ Be prepared (Committed)
‐ Dress in a professional manner

‐ No profanity or rage
‐ No disrespecting staff, administration, faculty, parents or booster
‐ Increase knowledge of the game
‐ Study Opponent
‐ Fund Raise
‐ Ensure the health and safety of each player
‐ Support Academics
‐ Team first concept

‐ Coach to WIN
Players‐ Play to have F.U.N. (Fierce Urgency of Now)
‐ Learn Player’s Creed
‐ Keep an updated notes book (3)
‐ Be a Model Student
‐ Have a study partner
‐ Be relentless worker in the weight room and on the field
‐ Dress in proper practice or game attire
‐ Respect Leader, Coaches, Admin, Faculty, and Players
‐ Six Pillars of Character
‐ Be Committed, (limit absents, no tardiness)

‐ No Drugs or Alcohol

‐ Earn a Varsity Letter via Quarters played and a point system
Player Discipline Levels‐
‐ A player will not practice (2 missed practices, no game)
‐ A player will not start a game
‐ A player will not play in a game
‐ A player will not suit/travel to game
‐ A player will turn in gear (dismissed from team)
