Autosave and Backup
These features can be enabled in your configuration:
They can protect you from data loss by saving your work periodically.
Click on the sub-tab of Files labeled Autosave/Backup
In this configuration user executed saves overwrite the active file.
Mastercam overwrites a file named Autosave.mcx at 15 minute intervals
Both also write to a series of three incremental backups.
So what you get is:

(Activefilename)@100.MCX
[email protected]
(Activefilename)@101.MCX
[email protected]
(Activefilename)@102.MCX
[email protected]
Consider the interval setting carefully so you don’t
create conflicts with large toolpath calculations
