North Riding County FA Match Official Promotion Scheme Criteria Wednesday, 01, March 2017 – Wednesday, 28, February 2018 The Promotion Scheme commences on Wednesday, 01 March 2017 until Wednesday, 28 February 2018 inclusive. If you are a Level 7 and wishing to apply for promotion for the first time, you must have served a minimum of one full registration period at this level to be eligible to apply. Please note that to apply for Promotion you must be refereeing within Open Age Adult Football. To apply to be a part of the promotion scheme, candidates must complete and return a ‘Promotion Application Form’ that can be found on the North Riding County FA website or by e-mailing Ross Joyce, Referee Development Officer – [email protected] In addition a £25.00 administration fee is required; you will be sent the details of how to make this payment via Whole Game System upon receipt of you application and payment must be made within 7 days. The closing date for applications is Friday, 07 April 2017. The Promotion Development Day will include a number of important sessions around administration, managing the game, fitness and technical laws of the game sessions. It will include both practical and classroom sessions with lunch and refreshments provided. All Promotion candidates will be expected to sign a ‘Service Level Agreement’ at the Promotion Development Day to ensure that they are fully aware of what is expected. Moving forward the Referees Development Committee now reviews match officials off field performance as well as on field before making its decision on promotion, therefore we will provide all candidates with the very best advice and guidance to ensure they are successful. I also understand that excellence in administration is required. All relevant paperwork should be completed and returned within the required timescales as and when requested. This includes correspondence with the RDO, Observer Coordinators, the FA, County FA, and Leagues. Professional conduct is expected by all Promotion Candidates on and off the field of play. Extreme caution should be taken when using Social Networking websites and messaging boards. I understand where a Promotion Candidate brings the Association into disrepute they will be dealt with in the strongest possible terms; which could also include removal from the Promotion Scheme.
