Toolstation Western Football League Bulletin Number 24 Latest Reports: Midweek Action: Oldland Abbotonians moved up four places to 16th in the First Division following a 3-1 win at home to Corsham Town on Wednesday evening. After a goalless first half, Oldland’s Jason Side opened the scoring with a fine header, before Danny Carter doubled the advantage six minutes later. Weekend Cup Action: Bristol Manor Farm are through to the fifth round of the FA Vase after coming through their replay with fellow Toolstation outfit Melksham Town. The Premier Division leaders were three-up within half an hour thanks to early goals from Ben Bament, Aron Robbins and Dean Stamp. Melksham’s first goal at the Oakfield Stadium was grabbed by Mike Perrott in the 65th minute, yet before long the game was in the bag for the visitors as Tory Simpson and Bament extended their advantage. Melksham gained some respectability with late goals for Luke Ballinger and Ricky Hulbert but they were soundly beaten and it is Manor Farm who will be travelling to Bromsgrove in the next round. Cadbury Heath are through to the next round of the GFA Challenge Trophy following a 4-2 home win against Kingswood North, with Matt Huxley registering a hat-trick.
