Manager Evaluation
To access the Performance Management Tool, log on to Manager Self Service/PeopleSoft at
https://hrb461.gru.edu/psp/hrb461/?cmd=login&languageCd=ENG&
2. Click Current Documents.
A list of your direct reports will be displayed by name. Select the employee you wish to evaluate.
The performance criteria and self‐
evaluation are completed by the employee.
On the complete manager evaluation row, click Start.
Note: To view a pdf of the employee’s self‐evaluation. On the Document Details Page, click on
view next to the “Review Self Evaluation”. Once on the Self‐
Evaluation, click on the print icon. A new tab will open with the pdf version of the self‐ evaluation. You
are able to shift between the two
tabs as you complete the
evaluation.
After selecting start, you will be directed to the Manager Evaluation page. On the top of this page there will be the employee
data, which consists of the employee’s ID, Department Number and Name as well as their years of service.
The Rating History button, supplies the manager with a history of the overall ratings for the employee. Because this is our first year completing ePerformance, the employee will not have an overall rating history.
You my save and return to complete the evaluation as many times as you need.
The Available for Review button should not be selected until you are finished. However, if you mistakenly select this button, click on “Return to
Document Detail” button and then select “cancel”. You will be returned to
the Documents Detail page. Select Action of Edit.
View Other Authors, allows the
manager to view
the rating and
comments from the
self‐ evaluation.
You are now ready to enter comments for the employee’s goal from prior year. There are no
character limitations.
Click on Expand in order to enter the rating.
Your choices for this
rating are:
Did Not Meet Exceeded Met
You are now ready to enter comments for the employee’s management duties. There are no
character limitations.
To calculate the suggested rating, select the calculator icon. To override the suggested rating click on override.
You are now ready to enter comments for the employee’s overall summary of their 6
management duties. There are no character limitations.
The competencies are pre‐loaded. The ratings that you are able to choose from are:

You are now ready to enter comments for the employee’s goals and objectives for the coming year. There are no character
limitations.

You are now ready to enter comments for the employee’s overall evaluation. There are no character limitations.
The employee will be able to enter comments after the review is held.
Gives you the option to add attachments to the employee’s evaluation.
Select Available for Review.
Select OK to continue with marking the review available, or if you select cancel you will be taken back to the evaluation.
Notice that the next action is now Mark Review Conducted.
After the review with the employee has been conducted, the manager will log into peoplesoft as before and select the
employee’s evaluation. Next the manager will select “Mark Review Conducted”
You will be taken to the employee’s evaluation page.
On this page select
Review Conducted.
After selecting OK, the manager will be returned to the Document Details page. The employee will receive an email notification to
log into their performance evaluation to
acknowledge it. This steps serves as the
eSignature.

conducted, or if you select cancel
you will be taken back to the
evaluation

If the employee refuses to sign or is unavailable to sign the performance evaluation, the manager may do so by selecting
Acknowledge Review.
Once the employee Acknowledges the performance evaluation, the manager will have to log into the review and mark it as complete.
