All intramural participants will be required to create an account on IMLeagues.com.
To create an IMLeagues account:
i.
Go to www.imleagues.com/NorthwestU/Registration
ii.
Enter your information and submit. You must and use your School Email (@northwestu.edu).
iii.
You will be sent an activation email, click the link in the email to login and activate your IMLeagues account.
iv.
You should also receive a text message with a link to download the IMLeagues app. PLEASE DO SO! This app will
be used to message players, track standings, and notify of game times and locations. *note* Northwest
University may not appear on the school list until sometime after 3/5. It takes a few days to input into the
system.

You should be automatically joined to your school – If not you can search schools by clicking the “Schools” link
How to sign up for Soccer 2016:
i.
Log in to your IMLeagues.com account.
ii.
Click the Create/Join Team button at the top right of your User Homepage page
OR
Click on the “Northwest University” link to go to your school’s homepage on IMLeagues.
iii.
The current sports will be displayed, click on Soccer.
iv.
Choose the league (NU Soccer Spring 2016).

Join as a Free Agent
If you said “Yes” to the “Are you interested in being a Captain?” question, NUSG will be contacting the 6
Team Captains within a week to let them know they have the position.
iii. If you said “No” to the Captain question, you will be notified when you have been added to the team.
Here’s how the season will work:
The league will consist of 6 teams. Captains will be assigned to each team based on interest. Every person interested in
playing will sign up as a free agent, not associated with any teams. Draft day will be March 16th. On Draft Day, the
captains will be added by NUSG to their respective teams, and they will have the ability to pick and place Free Agents of
their choice on their team. The Draft will be done school-yard style, each Captain taking turns picking Free Agents via
either the IMLeagues webpage or app. The order of Captain’s picks will be determined randomly and sent to the
Captains ahead of time. Drafts must be completed and all players added to a team by midnight on March 16th. It will be
the responsibility of the Captains to work amongst themselves to make sure they are using the app/webpage
consistently on Draft Day.
If players wish to play for a specific Captain or on a specific team, they may talk to the Captains and/or other players to
attempt to do so. This league will be professional and it is expected that all players and Captains will act professional
when working with and alongside the other Captains to organize the League as a whole.
Games will be held at 9am, 10am, and 11am on Saturday mornings on the Barton turf field. The first games will be held
March 19th. Any discrepancies with players, game dates, or game times may be communicated to the Admin by the
Captain through use of IMLeagues.
This system makes our League extremely efficient and much more organized. It even generates the schedule, player
stats, and playoff brackets for us. PLEASE use IMLeagues to the fullest extent, and let us know if you have any questions!
