NOTE
Rental rates for Cottages are based on guests cleaning them before
departure. A guide to cleaning is posted on the Cottage bulletin
board. MBL will inspect each unit for cleanliness prior to new
occupancy. Guests are responsible for cleaning and vacating
Cottages by 10:30 a.m. on the day of departure.
Full week Housekeeping Cottage reservations prior to June 24 and
after Labour Day will receive a 15% discount. Shorter rentals prior
to June 24 and from Sept. 5-Oct. 5 will receive a 10% discount.
COTTAGE DEPOSITS
$200.00 per week. Balance payable on arrival. Check with Office
regarding requested times to settle accounts.

Check out is 10:30 a.m., check in is 2:00 p.m.








NO PETS ALLOWED.
Minimum rental time for Cottages is 2 days.
During the main summer season, rental weeks are for full
weeks and begin and end on Saturday.
Cottages are furnished except for linens; guests supply their
own sheets, pillowcases, towels etc. (Or, linen can be rented
from MBL for $14.00/set/wk.)
There is a charge of $60.00/wk or $10.00/day for each person
(aged 5 and over) over the rated capacity of the Cottage.
Guests having visitors for the day will be charged
$10.00/visitor/day.
Requests for cots, cribs, highchairs and linen must be made
prior to arrival.
A charge of $10.00/week may apply to the 2nd and each
subsequent cot requested for any rental unit.

SMOKING
MBL has a “no smoking in accommodation” policy.
WATERCRAFT
MBL guests may rent aluminum rowboats and fiberglass canoes
($3.00/hr, $12.00/day, $60.00/wk, including dock space). Outboard
motors may be rented from local marinas.
Pedal boats and kayaks are available for rent for use on Gull and
Round lakes. Docking space may be rented subject to availability –
requests should be made prior to arrival. Single docks 10.00/day,
$55.00/week. Boats wider than 6 feet must rent two spaces.
ATV’s and personal watercraft such as Jet Skis and Seadoos are
not permitted at MBL.
PLEASE NOTE
For our mutual protection, deposits are required on all
reservations and apply to the last day or days of the reservation
(except for late arrivals, when deposit also may apply to the first
day or days of the reservation). If circumstances require that you
cancel your reservation, your deposit will be returned provided we
receive your cancellation 6 weeks in advance, or, on shorter notice
if the space cancelled is rented to others, provided MBL does not
incur a financial loss due to your cancellation. In either event, a
10% accounting fee may be deducted. MBL may waive or modify
these requirements on a case by case basis.
Organized recreational program provided from June 24 to Sept 3.
Limited Office hours prior to June 24 and from Sept. 5 – Oct. 6.
The MBL Store will be open from June 24 to Labour Day and
Fri./Sat./Mon. of Thanksgiving weekend.





All rates subject to change without notice, are quoted in Canadian
Dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
A charge of $30.00 may be applied for all NSF cheques.
We accept cash, cheques, VISA and MasterCard. During the main
season we also accept Direct Debit.
Do not send cash in the mail. Please make cheque or money order
payable to Miners’ Bay Lodge.
All payments made by VISA, MasterCard and Direct Debit are in
Canadian funds.

MODIFIED AMERICAN PLAN ACCOMMODATION (Rates per Person Including Meals)
For the main summer season (June 24 to September 5) rates for accommodation with meals are for Modified American Plan. This includes full breakfast and evening dinner. No noon meal is included
in these rates. Rates do not allow for deductions for meals missed. MBL Rates cover basic meals. We must be advised of special needs prior to arrival - extra charges may apply. The listed minimum
rental rate on any unit will apply (i.e. one adult in a unit listed with a 2-adult minimum will pay 2 adult rates). Guests having visitors for the day who use the recreational facilities will be charged

CHECK OUT/CHECK IN
For Room and Cabin guests, check out is 11:00 a.m., check
in is 1:00 p.m. During the main summer season,
reservations for MAP accommodation are for full weeks
(Saturday-Saturday). Requests for shorter time periods, if
available, will be considered close to the date in question.
NO PETS ALLOWED.
THANKSGIVING
For Thanksgiving weekend (October 6-9) a minimum
reservation of 2 full days is required. The “Accommodation
with Meals” plan will include breakfast, dinner and supper
with the main meal of the day served at midday.
Thanksgiving Dinner will be served Sunday midday with a
supper buffet Sunday night. The last meal served on
Thanksgiving weekend will be at noon, Monday, Oct. 9.
Note: Rates for Thanksgiving will be subject to a $20.00
weekend surcharge per Adult over the listed summer rates to
cover the additional daily meal.
