Please follow the instructions below when compiling the information for your Team Roster. (The team roster may not
exceed 18 players.) Your roster needs to be e-mailed to [email protected] by the March 11, 2017 roster
deadline. A hard copy of this Team Roster should also be mailed with a completed and signed (by parent and coach)
Player Eligibility Form in ONE PACKAGE to HWSA (see last paragraph). Thank you in advance for following the
directions below:
1) Please use the Roster Grid below as your guide by copying and pasting it. Font size should be 9 pt and Times
New Roman. The Header row and rows listing seniors should be in bold text. All other text should be in
regular formatting.
2) List names of players in alphabetical order by grade level. Seniors should be listed first, followed by
juniors, sophomores, freshmen, and 8th graders (see sample below). First name first, please.

3) Spell out grade declaration (Senior, Junior, Sophomore, Freshman, 8th)
4) Birth dates are NOT required on the roster. We have those on file through the certification process.
5) List positions using the descriptions below; if player plays multiple positions please separate by a slash
(Example 1: P, IF, OF, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, C, P; Example 2: P/3B)

6) A maximum of 18 players can be listed on the Team Roster. Once the Team Roster is submitted, no players
may be replaced or added to the Team Roster, absent special circumstances affecting the team’s viability.
However, players may be removed from the Team Roster at any time by e-mailing the administrator.
7) List Coaches on the Team Roster and place their title (i.e., Head Coach, Coach, Manager, etc.) in the
position column.
Please also remember to read the HWSA rules concerning individual player eligibility very carefully. For 2016, all
players must be registered individually, and a copy of a new player’s birth certificate included with his registration form.
These documents should be mailed in ONE PACKAGE per team and postmarked by March 11, 2017. Note: You
will need to e-mail your roster to [email protected] AND send a hard copy along with your Player Eligibility forms
