A rugby ball matters if:
•It is the only truly recognised thing to play rugby

•It is the most fun thing to play rugby with
Same goes for God. He does matter if:
•He is the one who created the universe and you.
•He is the only way to get to heaven
•He is the best one to show you how to live the
best life here on earth
So he matters.
The big question then comes – does he matter to
you?

You probably know that you matter, we are all
learning that others matter – but at the top of the
triangle – does God matter?? Good question – I’m
glad you asked it!
If you are playing rugby with you and your mates,
lets look at what is important:

The ball
See, the first two are obvious – to get into the
game you need yourself and some others.
Yet something that is important and vital even the
ball!!
Sure, you could try and play without the ball, but it
wouldn’t be the same!
If you answered NOT MUCH – that’s up to you!!
Playing a game of rugby without a ball would be
dumb. Jumping out of a plane with no parachute
isn’t too bright either.
Life without God in it? It would be like deleting all
your files on your computer – you would still have
a computer, it just wouldn’t be as good any more!
Life without God isn’t so complete – you are a 2
sided triangle – incomplete!!
If you answered NOT AS MUCH AS HE SHOULD, a
good question is:
How important should God be to us?
ICHI BAN!! For all you who know Japanese, that
means “Number 1”. God wants to be the most
important thing in our life!! He wants to be the
number one thing that matters in our life!
Write down and discuss why you think God wants
Sure, you could try and play with some other type
to be Ichi Ban in your life:
