Announcements - Reeman Christian Reformed Church

May 25, 2014
Welcome to Reeman Church. It is with awe and wonder
that we gather to worship the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
The praise team will lead us in worship today and Pastor
Nate Kooistra will bring God’s word from John 14. In
this passage Jesus tells his hurting, confused and
disoriented disciples that he will not leave them as
orphans. Rather he will send a Counselor to be with
them. That Counselor is the Holy Spirit. More than
2000 years later, in a world where many are confused and
disoriented, we can take comfort in the fact that we are
not alone. The Holy Spirit is guiding us each and every
day.
We hope that as we worship together you will sense the
presence and peace of God’s Spirit. After our time of
worship this morning everyone is invited to stay for
fellowship and refreshments.

Please pray against reprisal attacks and any further violence; for the
release of the girls kidnapped in Chibok, Borno State and their
families; and for an end to the Boko Haram insurgence. Pray too for
God’s peace and comfort to the many people in Jos and throughout
Nigeria, who are traumatized by different recent crises in the country.
