Daily Student Announcements
ORGANIZATIONS:
Anime Club will meet on Monday night in room 200.
Yoga club meets on Tuesday after school in the upstairs Pickard Lobby.
Art Club will be meeting in room 420 at 3:20 pm every Tuesday.
SEA Club will now meet on Tuesdays after school. Please plan to meet at 3:25 pm in room 164B.
Eco Club meets every Wednesday at 7:15am in the library.
Yearbook will be meeting Wednesday after school in room 103.
Science Olympiad will meet every Wednesday night. See Mr. Sonntag in room 510 for details.
Knitting Club - Meets Wednesdays at 3:30 in the Career Center. See Mrs. Uvaas with any
questions.
Prom Committee will meet every Thursday after school in room 208.
Creative Writing Club meets on Thursdays, in room 212. See Mrs. Mettlach with any questions.
Heart Group will be meeting on Thursday, after school in room 404. Diversity Fair is not far off.

GENERAL:
If you are planning to attend the STRIVE trip this Thursday, please see Mr. Borchardt or Mr.
Peterson for a special permission slip that needs to be filled out before we go. Details about
the trip are on Schoology.
The Neenah High School Spring Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, April 8th from 7:30 am –
4:30 pm. To Schedule an appointment, sign up in any office. Appointments are preferred. You must
be at least 16 years old and 110 pounds to donate blood.
Students are encouraged to submit their best poetry from the school year in the Neenah Public
Library’s annual poetry contest. Students in all grades may submit their pieces in their respective
school office between April 1-30. Entries should include the author’s name, address, grade level and
school attended. Winners will be notified by mail the week of June 22. Every student who enters the
contest will receive a bookmark and winners will receive a certificate and a book of their choice. The
winning entries will also be on display at the Neenah Public Library.

at [email protected] There will also be an informational meeting on Thursday April 9th at
6 pm in the little Conant theater room 424.
Note on students getting jobs – all students under the age of 18 are required to obtain a work
permit after they are hired, but before they start working. Work permits cost $10.00. The student is
required to have a letter from the employer, showing that they have been hired, and a parent
signature somewhere on that letter, and their social security card. They should bring all these things
either to City Hall in Neenah, or to the main office at the high school to obtain the permit.
Neenah Parks & Recreation is currently accepting applications for softball scorekeepers. Scorekeepers are needed for the adult softball leagues. Leagues play evenings at Memorial and
Washington Parks beginning week of May 4 and continue until mid August. Interested applicants
should go to the City of Neenah’s website (under employment) and apply as soon as possible.

If you love baseball and are looking for a job this spring and summer, Suburban Athletics and Neenah
Baseball are now hiring umpires for the 2015 season. Umpire either youth baseball or softball
leagues or both. You can earn over $80 a week and can request times that fit into your schedule!

“Living the Dream" is a summer program and there are four workshops in all. Each meets for three
Saturdays. You can participate in as few or as many of the four workshops as you like! The first one,
Introduction to Integrative, Organic Acting, starts April 11. The cost for each three-week session is
$90.00 and include three, 2-hour classes. For descriptions of the workshops we are offering in this
