The EBBC 3 on 3 will guarantee each team a minimum of three games.
Teams consist of three or four players (one substitute)
Each basket counts as 1 point. If made from behind “3 point” line, basket
counts as 2 points.
Games will be played to a maximum of 15 points or fifteen minute time
limit.
Teams must be at their courts five minutes before game time or forfeit
will result.
Each team is allowed one 60 second time out.
Coin flip will determine first possession of each game and any overtime.
Overtimes will be decided by the first team to score.
Ball must be “checked” and “passed in” after each basket scored and any
dead ball. Ball changes possession after each basket scored. “Make it
take it” rule does not apply.
Courts will have a WIAA official and volunteer scorekeeper. All fouls
will be called by referees. Fouls result in possession at top of key, with
“check” and “pass in”. WIAA referee to be used for all championship
games.
7th team foul will result in a free throw plus possession.
Made basket on 7th foul, basket counts and same team retains possession
no additional free throw.
Flagrant or intentional foul called by the referee will result in a free
throw attempt, and the team retains possession of the ball. A warning is
also issued; second offense by a player will result in dismissal.
Ball must be taken back behind 3 point line anywhere with both feet with
each change of possession.
Jump balls will be alternating possession.
No stalling is permitted.
Players may only appear on one team roster.
Excessive arguing will result in a technical foul (one free throw attempt
and possession of the ball).
No jewelry is to be worn during play (ie. Earrings, necklaces, bracelets).
Any unsportsmanlike like conduct will result in dismissal. This includes
excessive complaining to referee and abusive language.
An injured player may be replaced by a non-roster player for the team’s
next game. (The team with the injured player will play short for the
remainder of the current game.
Referee’s decisions are final. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Eastside Basketball Boosters and the School District of Janesville
will not be held responsible for injuries or loss of personal property
while attending this tournament. I specifically waive, give up, and release
Eastside Basketball Booster Club 3 on 3 Tournament staff
from liability from any claims or damages which I, or my so/daughter
may sustain at the tournament.
