No other county can now equal or better the Herts points total making the remaining matches in the group, due to be played in July, 'dead rubbers'. This is the first time Hertfordshire have reached the quarter finals of the Middleton Cup since the 1990's. The quarter final will be played on a neutral green on Saturday 22nd July, our opposition will be known (Bedfordshire/Leicestershire or Essex) following the final round of East A fixtures on the 8th July.
