To deliver practical football sessions in line with the Regional Talent Club
technical programme
Trials June 2016 / Season starts August 2016
Responsible for:




Providing high quality coaching and support
Implementing a training and games programme in line with LTPD guidelines
To support the Head Coach
The welfare of players within their designated age group
Key skills and experience required: Essential










UEFA B Licence
FA Youth Award Module 1 and 2
FA Licensed
FA Emergency First Aid Qualification (up to date)
Knowledge and understanding of child protection issues including holding a current FA
Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate
An accepted DBS Enhanced Criminal Records Check (CRC)
Experience in coaching girls’ football
An understanding of current Regional Talent Club structures
Have knowledge and understanding of child development and be sensitive to children’s needs
Own transport essential
Desirable





An understanding of Talent Identification
An appreciation of Long Term Player Development
Knowledge and understanding of working with young players
Ability to work in a team environment
Understanding of the FA girls & women’s player pathway
