Parent Permission:
I, the undersigned (or by parent or guardian, if I am a minor) acknowledge that Lawton Chiles High School, it’s faculty, and chaperones
have authority to take whatever action they consider necessary to safeguard my health and safety. This authority includes (without
limitation) securing medical treatment for me at my expense and returning me to my house at my expense for such treatment they
deem necessary.
I understand that the above parties and institutions have full authority to terminate my participation in this trip and in case of my failure
to comply with their rules, standards, and instructions, I will be sent home at my expense. I will at all times remain under the
supervision of the chaperones. I will also indemnify anyone whom I injure or whose property I damage or cause to be damaged while
on this trip.
1. Use, possession, or being under the influence of tobacco, alcohol, or drugs, in any form is strictly prohibited on campus, at
school activities and on school sponsored trips.
2. The principal or his representative shall have the right to inspect the property of any student at any time, without warning.
All students and their belongings will be inspected prior to boarding the bus. Any student that is found with
alcohol, drugs, drug paraphernalia, or tobacco products OR is found outside of their hotel room without
permission may be sent home by bus at the parent’s expense, and their trip payment will NOT be refunded.
3. Male students are not to be in the female rooms at any time.
Female students are not to be in the male rooms at any time.
4. Regular school rules that apply will be in effect.
