Background Initiative for Peace Communication Association (IPCA): IPCA is a local South Sudanese NGO established in 2010, with a track record in the sectors of access to justice and rule of law, peace building and conflict mitigation, SGBV, governance, and democracy. IPCA operates in five of the ten South Sudanese states with a mission to lead in building a peaceful, equitable, democratic, and healthy South Sudan. IPCA has established its Access to Justice and Rule of Law program with a mandate to provide pro-bono services, including legal clinics and psychosocial support for victims of gross violations and abuses of human rights. Marginalized communities, women, and victims of SGBV have been a primary focus of a UNDP-funded program, which has included the establishment of a free mobile legal aid clinic, telephone legal aid consultancy, human rights radio talk shows and festivals, and training to chiefs, judges, Prosecutors, and paralegals. Contribute to delivery of Impacts Code Implementation projects: Be the lead to project internal M&E Team monitoring project progress at field sites (Yambio, Lainya, Yei, Juba, Torit, Nimule and Bor) Organize events and meetings; support preparation of meeting and event content Coordinate with member organizations on project related activities Maintain relevant areas of the IPCA website (in cooperation with Web designer) Support communications with project participants - Track project work plan and deliverables Assist with project M&E, reporting and other project management task Monitor and assess new academic and other less accessible literature regarding the environmental and social impacts of voluntary standard systems and prepare periodic summaries of key studies 9. Support Impact Code compliance processes - Respond to basic enquiries from members about Impacts Code compliance 10. Coordinate with Community Support Coordinator on impacts code compliance requirements and processes for assessing compliance. 11. Maintain accurate records of member compliance using appropriate systems (e.g.CRM system) 3 of 4 3 Support organizational monitoring and evaluation function and processes 12. Help develop data collection instruments for IPCA own M&E system 13. Analyze survey results and other types of data; summarize findings (with text, graphics, and tables) 14. Prepare internal and external reports 15. Coordinate staff input for periodic M&E and other reports. Qualifications 1. Diploma in M & E or its equivalent 2. Demonstrate ability to work with the government more especially the prison services 3. Ready and willing to work in the project sites 4. Spoken and written fluency in English. Ability to speak the local language will be an asset 5. Able to work with partners 6. Work experience of 2 – 3 years in related field 7.
