Issue 67 For children with special needs and disabilities and their siblings Letter from Kim Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely comments we received about the Alice day. Also a reminder that families who have not paid their membership will not receive this newsletter. So if a friend tells you they didn’t get theirs then that will most likely be the reason why. Membership has continued to grow throughout 2015 so demand for places remains high. Can I remind you to cancel places you no longer want in plenty of time if possible as there is almost always a waiting list. Bookings to be sent to the usual email [email protected] and the closing date and the day on which Claire will start to allocate will be Monday 16th November. Also we could do with a few more tombola prizes if any of you can help. Bag Packing - Volunteers needed Please Our next bag pack is Wednesday 23rd December at Sainsbury’s Bentley Bridge, Wednesfield. Last year this was our biggest fundraiser of the whole year and to repeat that we need to get as many checkouts covered as we can. The session will run 10:00am until 4:00pm. Claire is making a rota and you can do as little as one hour. Every little bit will help. Children are welcome and any Christmas hats you may have all add to the atmosphere. . A special Thank You must be sent to Sarah Andrews for her continued fundraising efforts for Let Us Play. There are details of her next venture over the page. This kind of funding is especially valuable as it funds those difficult and unglamorous items which are so essential to an organisation such as ours.
